Companies Match Funds to Help Provide a Place of Rejuvenation
McLean, Va. – Today Swish, a trusted Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned provider of technology solutions and engineering services to the U.S. Federal Government, today announced that the company has matched funds with partner Check Point to support Patriot Point, a Maryland recreational facility for our nation’s wounded, ill and injured veterans and their families. Check Point is a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions.
“Check Point approached us with the idea of a matching fund donation to a charity of our choice,” stated Monty Deel, president, and chief executive officer of Swish. “As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned business, we naturally were interested in finding a charity that supports veterans. Patriot Point is a beautiful property on Maryland’s Eastern Shore which provides a place for veterans to recharge, reconnect, and escape the stresses of everyday life so it was a natural choice.”
Patriot Point was founded in 2016 and comprises 290 acres on two waterways a short distance from the Chesapeake Bay. The coastal waterfront resort offers veterans fishing, boating, studio arts, watersports, hunting, or just a refuge for relaxation in a healing environment. “We are very happy to support such a valuable facility and give back to the veterans who have honorably served us all,” Deel concluded.
