Swish Appoints Industry Veterans Jones Tallent as President and Kush Kumar as Chief Revenue Officer

Notable and proven technology executives with a history of successful leadership, join Swish’s executive team as part of the company’s continuing growth strategy  

McLean, VA — June 2, 2026  – Swish, a leading provider of technology solutions and engineering services to the U.S. federal government, today announced the appointments of Jones Tallent as President and Kush Kumar as Chief Revenue Officer. The appointments are the direct result of a deliberate leadership strategy to build a senior executive team capable of scaling Swish’s operations, accelerating revenue growth, and deepening the company’s partnerships with OEM vendors and agency customers at a pivotal moment in the company’s growth. 

As President, Tallent will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Monty Deel and serve as Swish’s chief operating executive, translating the company’s strategic vision into day-to-day performance and long-term growth. His responsibilities will encompass oversight of all business operations, program delivery, financial performance, and workforce development across Swish’s solutions and engineering services divisions. This structure enables Chief Executive Officer Monty Deel to focus on enterprise strategy, investor relationships, corporate development, and Swish’s long-term market positioning. Tallent is a 28-year industry veteran who previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Titania Solutions Group and held Chief Financial Officer positions at both Swish and Merlin International. 

Kumar joins as Chief Revenue Officer, reporting to President Jones Tallent, and will hold full accountability for Swish’s revenue-generating operations. His mandate spans leadership of the company’s entire federal sales organization, development and execution of Swish’s go-to-market strategy, and management of the company’s OEM vendor partnerships and agency customer relationships. Kumar will be responsible for building and scaling Swish’s sales pipeline and aligning the sales organization’s efforts with the operational delivery capabilities. He joins Swish after 14+ years at Red River, where he served in a similar capacity and helped drive significant growth and market expansion. He has been recognized as an industry leader, helping build successful companies and brings a wealth of deep experience obtained over a career that also included senior sales leadership roles at Oracle and GTSI.
