The United States Coast Guard, responsible for overseeing nearly 95,000 miles of coastline across missions ranging from drug interdiction to search and rescue, was generating massive amounts of data that sat locked in silos across dozens of disconnected systems, forcing analysts to rely on slow manual queries and rigid legacy reporting tools.
